Miss Indigenous Canada 2026

Miss Indigenous Canada 2026 is Brooke Metchewais from Cold Lake First Nations.

Brooke Metchewais is from Cold Lake First Nations in Treaty 6 territory, with roots in Saddle Lake Cree Nation and Big Island Lake Cree Nation. She now lives on the traditional territory of the Stó:lō people. She holds a degree in Sport & Fitness Leadership and works in Indigenous Health Services, where she advances culturally safe practices and strengthens relationships with Indigenous communities. Brooke also serves as a Board Director for a Child & Family Services Society, advocating for the well-being of Indigenous children and families. An old-style jingle dress dancer, she enjoys travelling the powwow trail across Turtle Island.
