Miss Indigenous Canada 2025

Miss Indigenous Canada 2025 is Gena Boubard, representing Sagkeeng First Nation.

Gena Boubard (they/them) is a proud Two-Spirit Anishinaabe from Sagkeeng First Nation in Treaty 1 territory, and is a direct descendant of Chief Kakekapenaise signatory to Treaty 1 in 1871. They were raised with traditional teachings and has ceremony family all across Turtle Island. Gena is a former Miss Southern Manitoba World 2018, and competed at Miss World Canada. They are currently a professional makeup artist, with experience at Sephora Canada as an artist and contributor to their Indigenous employee resource group. Through social media Gena continues to advocate for Indigenous LGBTQIA2S+ youth empowerment and representation.
