Kegona Tenasco is Anishnabe from the community of Kitigan Zibi, Quebec. Kegona is a passionate teacher and cultural coordinator to Indigenous youth in high school. She is the creator of the “Land Acknowledgement Festival” to honour Indigenous learning and land based practices. Her love for her culture inspires her celebration & preservation of Indigenous traditions through her work and hand-drum singing.
