Heaven Solomon is a proud Wolastoqew woman from Neqotkuk Wolastoqiyik. She serves her community as Director of Language and Culture and is completing her MEd in Leadership and Administration at UNB. She graduated with honours from UNB and the St. Thomas University Maliseet Immersion Program. Heaven is Chair of the Language Advisory Committee and Project Manager for the Language Home. She is Co-Chair of the Powwow Committee, coordinates the Princess Pageant, and coaches volleyball and basketball at NBISG. A former Miss New Brunswick, she is committed to strengthening language, culture, and youth in her community.
