Aurora Ominika-Enosse (she/her) is an Anishinaabe kwe from Wiikwemkoong Unceded Territory located on Manitoulin Island, Ontario. She received her Bachelor of Social Work, with a minor in Indigenous Studies from Carleton University. Aurora began working at the National Association of Friendship Centres as a Project Coordinator, working with Urban Indigenous youth from across Canada. Having been raised in the city, she knows the importance of community. Because of this, she is passionate about creating spaces where youth can feel safe, empowered and have access to culture. She believes that when Indigenous youth take up space today, that they are opening doors for future generations.
