Larissa Wrightman (she/her) is a proud Anishinaabe Kwe from Walpole Island First Nation (Bkejwanong). She is Bear Clan with Potawatomi, Ojibwe, Chippewa, and Tohono O’odham descent. Working with Indigenous Clean Energy, Larissa values the importance of building capacity through projects that not only better the land but empower the Indigenous communities they operate in. She’s a strong advocate of youth empowerment through her work as a Bkejwanong Youth Councillor & an Ambassador of Hope with We Matter. Larissa is grateful for the opportunity to encourage/support Indigenous youth to be involved in her community and to uplift Indigenous youth throughout Canada.
